Mutek Nocturne 1 – May 29 , 2013

A general hubbub overpowered the tepid mix laid out by John Tejada, whose tech house sound left me wanting. An Unauspicious start for the festival, maybe, but on the up side things could only get better from here as far as I was concerned. Thankfully his set was reasonably short and ended on a good note. Mutek Night 3 – May 31, 2013

I started out Mutek night 3 at A/Visions 3. First up I caught a portion of Antoine Scmitt & Frank Vigroux's set and wished I had seen in its entirety because it was truly an amazing combination of sound and video; next up was K.A.N.T.N.A.G.A.N.O's set, which I could have happily missed: it featured oompah Oktoberfest music, and the gang of musicians dancing round a keg with steins of beer cheering each other, also a science-class papier-mâché volcano and some jamming on guitars and basses...
